Chutney’s recipes

Chutney plays an important role in Pakistani food. There are a lot of chutneys are available in the market or you can prepare them yourself by the given recipes: http://blush.com.pk/category/food/
Plums Chutney:
Ingredients:
  • Dried plums
  • Water
  • Sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili powder
  • Vinegar
  • Almonds

Method:
Get a pan and add water, dried plums, salt, red chili powder and boil until plums get soften.
  Add sugar and cook on medium heat until sugar is dissolved and mixture becomes thick.
 Now add vinegar and give it a boil. When it is done turn off the flame and add almonds to the chutney. The chutney is now ready to be served.
Yogurt Chutney:
Ingredients:
  • Yogurt                                 1 cup
  • Mint leaves                        1/4 cup
  • Coriander leaves               1/2 cup
  • Green chilies                      3 medium size
  • Garlic clove                        2 medium size
  • Cumin powder                   1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper powder       1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
Method:
Yogurt chutney is very easy to prepare. You just need all the above listed ingredients and a blender to blend them well. The delicious yogurt chutney is ready.
